Disneyland

Disneyland was awesome, as usual. The weather was perfect and so much more enjoyable than when we went in July. One of the nights the park closed at 9:00. We were sitting in Tomorrowland and this guy asked us if we would like to stay for a invite only VIP party. We said yes even though we didn't really know what it was. It turned out that Tomorrowland stayed open until 11:00. We got to ride Star Tours, and Space Mountain as many times as we wanted without waiting in line. There was a big dance party where we got free light wands. We dressed up in space gear and got free pictures together, and we got pictures with all of the Star Wars characters (Princess Leia Minnie, Luke Mickey, Storm Trooper Donald, and Darth Goofy - those pics are on my mom's camera). It was pretty cool! One thing though... I didn't realize that Space Mountain turns scary for Halloweentime and Carter said he wanted to go on it. If I would have known it was going to be scary I wouldn't have taken him. I had to cover his eyes whenever the "scary creature would try and get us" (Carter's words).

The next morning we had our character breakfast at the Plaza Inn. This was the first time we had tried a character breakfast and it was awesome! You get to see so many characters without a line, and the food is great! It is an all you can eat buffet and the little Mickey waffles were probably some of the best waffles I have ever eaten.

I made Carter and Paige matching shirts. I thought they turned out pretty good!

Here are their matching shirts!

He loved Splash Mountain!

You don't see that very often. 5 minute wait time!

Excited for his first ride on Space Mountain! With NO line!

Me, covering the poor little guy's eyes.

It was so weird to see Main Street Empty after we left the VIP Party! They were moving all of the parade floats back down to the other end of the park.

Again, NO PEOPLE!

Look at the cute Mickey waffles! Carter even ate them!

Carter and Dale having fun teasing each other! This was at our character breakfast!

The Fairy Godmother was so sweet to Paige. Paige loved her!

This was neat because we don't see Snow White very often. She came over and gave the kids an imaginary coin and had them make a wish.

Oh, those cheeks! I just Love em!

Our friends the Deckers were at D-Land too so they watched the kids for us so we could go on Indiana Jones together. OF COURSE it broke down right at the snake part! We rode the rest of it with the lights on, then got to ride it again. It was kind of neat, but I was just stressing about getting back to my kids the whole time!

Carter playing with Handy Manny after the Playhouse Disney show. We get Carter those stickers that have our phone numbers on them in case he gets lost. It is such a good idea. You can get them from the baby care center.
