California - Part 1

We went to California in July. First, we went to Mark's mom and stepdad's house in Idio. Then we went to Disneyland, and we went to Newport Beach a day inbetween there too. It was hard to travel with two kids instead of the one we were used to. Plus, it was SO hot so we (mostly me) were worrying about keeping Paige cooled off enough. I spent a lot of time inside the baby center at Disneyland, and inside the stores during the middle of the day. The other thing that made it hard was to save money we weren't spoiled with our favorite hotel right across from the entrance. So, we had to pack up the car and double stroller and all of our supplies every day. And, we had a lot of supplies because we were traveling with a baby! We drove to the parking lot, unloaded all of our supplies so we could fold up the stroller. Helped one little kid, one baby (with carseat), one double stroller, and all of our supplies onto the bus. Then we had to unload it all once we got the entrance. We had to do the same thing at the end of the night when we were dead tired too. Although we did find that it was easier for just Mark to go and get the car then meat us at a parking lot close by and load up the car from there instead of having to take everything onto the dang bus. Such. A. Pain!

Anyway... on our way there Paige got to experience her first flight. She loved it so much she slept through it. Carter enjoyed himself and loved watching his own personal television. Jet Blue is my favorite airline by far!

Carter loves throwing bread to the big nasty carp in the golf course ponds. And running away from the sprinklers!

Carter gets his love of karaoke from his dad. It is not my thing!
