Pictures galore!

I know I have been posting a lot of pictures of Carter lately but I can't really help it! I guess it shouldn't really matter because this is MY blog, right? This is just such a fun time of year to take pictures. So anyway, my mom and I took Carter to Kiddie Kandids today for pictures in his monkey costume. I also got some other pictures in a cute outfit and one of the traditional tin bathtub pictures. Carter always does so good and I am beginning to think that when he sees a camera he knows to smile. What a good little boy...

Carter - 8 Months Old

7 Month Pictures

I know this post is kind of late but I still wanted to post the pictures that my friend Kelley Howe took of Carter. They turned out so cute and I just love them! I know I am biased but look how dang cute he is! Thanks Kelley!

Our first "real" family pictures

Although we have had many family pictures taken together these were our first pictures that were planned and outfit coordinated. It went pretty well other than Carter has been sick so he was kind of fussy. We got them taken at Beus Pond and my mom was our photographer. (Thanks mom!) There were also about a million other people there getting their pictures taken too. When we first pulled up there were tons of cars on the street and I was wondering what was going on. The cars belonged to all the people getting their pictures done! I had no idea it was such a popular park for family pictures. Now I know. Anyway, here are a couple of my favorites...

This post never got published so I am squeezing it in for record keeping... :)

Today (October 8th) is mine and Mark's 3rd year anniversary! I can hardly believe it myself. We actually had our first date on October 23, 2004 so it has almost been 4 years exactly of knowing each other. Mark did something really fun this morning... he wrote a nice note and drew our family on our window with chalk paint. What a nice surprise when I opened the drapes!

I surprised Mark with dinner at Snowbasin. I had Rob (who was also working at Flying J at the time) call and "ask Mark to cover for him that night.." So he thought he was going to have to work but then Rob and I showed up and I took him to dinner and Rob stayed and worked! Mark sure was surprised! The dinner was an all you can eat seafood buffet. Dinner was served at the lodge on top of the mountain so we road the gondola to the top. It was sunset and fall time so the view was incredible. We had a great time.

These past three years have taught me a lot! Mark is a great husband and I love him very much. We works really hard to provide for us and helps fulfill my dream of being a stay at home mom. Thanks Mark! I love you so much!

California 2008

Disneyland 2008

California

We're back! What a great week we had last week in California. We went to Universal Studios, Disneyland (4 days!), and we visited Mark's family. The purpose of our trip was for Mark's grandma and grandpa's 80th birthday party. We also got to visit his other grandma that lives in San Diego. My mom came with us and it was so nice having her there to help out with Carter. The only bummer was that my back was hurting the whole time. I went to the doctor today and he said it is most likely a pinched nerve or a bulged disk. He gave me some pain meds and I have to start physical therapy.
Although I loved everything, I especially loved Disneyland! It was decorated for Halloween and it was just awesome! I love fall and Halloween so combining it with Disneyland made it ten times better!  I feel so blessed that we were able to take a vacation as a family!

Carter's 1st plane ride!

It was kind of a small plane...

Ahh! Shark!
One of my favorite things to do at Universal Studios is go on the tram ride that shows the "backlot." The backlot is where they build sets and film tv shows and movies.

Our cute little pumpkin

We went to the pumpkin patch at Carlos' fruit stand this last Friday. I love going there to get our pumpkins because that is where we always went when I was a kid. It brings back good memories. They have it decorated really cute (for pictures of course) and they have a great selection of pumpkins. I got some of the cutest pictures of Carter.
