I have so many favorite pictures from his birthday that I am going to post them all.
Carter's super cute Birthday Cake!
Carter's invite. Thanks to Heather for helping me with it!
Everyone eating the yummy food.
The kids watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.
All the kids LOVED this game. Mark drew it and colored it and I made the beanbags for it. The little kids and the big kids loved it. Didn't Mark do an awesome job?!
Mesmerized by the flame...
Carter tried so hard to blow out his candle! He was trying to blow through his teeth so it just wouldn't work!
Here is all of Carter's loot! Everyone was so generous! Mark and I went in on the slide with Grandma Robin & Grandpa Elliott (wish you could have been with us!). The slide is suppose to be bigger but the store gave us the wrong size. We still have to go and exchange it for a bigger one. (Long Story)
Carter with his Grandma Tammy.
On Carter's actual birthday (Feb. 22) I took him to the Treehouse during the day and that night we went to dinner at Sizzler with my parents and brother. Carter thoroughly enjoyed it.. especially the ice cream! (if you couldn't tell)
After dinner Carter got to go to his Grandma and Grandpa's and open more presents! SPOILED! - But so cute!
He got a wagon!
He was quite the little helper and helped every step of the way.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY CARTER! WE LOVE YOU!
A couple of things Carter has been up to lately....
- One of my favorite things that he says right now is, "Mom, what you doin'?" He asks me that all the time, and especially if I am in another room and he comes in he will ask me that. I love it!
- He is also acts very much like a two year old in the fact that everything is "Mine." "That's my slide."
- He is putting together more and more sentences and ideas. He tells Jackson "quiet" and "get down." If I ask him if he is hungry he says "ok" and runs to his highchair.
- He also LOVES to count! He mainly likes to count from 9, 10, 11, 12. He prefers the even numbers if we count with him. He can also sing a lot of the words in songs from his favorite shows, Little Einsteins and Wonderpets. He also loves to name the colors. He can identify orange, "geen" (green), lellow (yellow - although sometimes he calls yellow pink), bue (blue), purple, red, pink, brown, and white.
- He has always been a little cuddler but lately he has been running up to me and hugging my leg. I love it. He likes us to sit and play with him or watch a show with him. He is social and good to play with other kids. Even though he says "mine" a lot he will share when we ask him to. He also loves going to nursery and playing with his little neighbor friends.
- His favorite foods are: "snacks" (fruit snacks), "dink" (drink), muffins, grilled cheese, quesadillas or chips & salsa (he calls any kind of dip salsa), "chipees" (chips), pizza, Chef Boyardee pasta, yogurt, "nanas!" (bananas), bread, and cake.
I love that he is able to communicate with us more. Not only is it cute, but it makes our lives, and his life a little less frustrating. He is such a cute little boy. It is going to be so fun watching him through this next stage of life.

SO fun. I love birthdays. Especially for the little ones. Emorie tells me everyday what kind of cake she wants for her next birthday. I don't think she realizes how far away it really is.
We so have the same wagon. When it FINALLY warms up we will have to take the kids somewhere exciting to use them.
Happy Birthday Carter!
