A lot of the time when you buy a house you never know what kind of neighbors you are going to get. You hope for nice, responsible, respectful neighbors, and if you are lucky that is what you will get. If you get REALLY lucky you will get neighbors that become your best friends and will continue to be for the rest of your life. That is what happened when the Johnsons moved next door to us. We instantly became best friends. Amanda and I became best friends, and Mark and Clay became best friends. It has been perfect.
One of the things I have missed the most is when we would both be out in the front yard and we would just hang out. Especially in the summer. Our kids usually ended up playing in the water at least once a day and we would chat and eat popsicles.
We have shared so many life experiences together... Carter and Lyndee were both born and Chance has grown from just an 8 month old baby to a little 4 year old boy! They also supported us during our loss of Bridger...
We love camping together, shopping, decorating, and doing home improvements together :) Whenever we needed anything (tools, cookware, to borrow a car) we always just borrowed each other's. I also can't count how many times we helped each other out with last minute babysitting.. It is so nice to have someone you trust close by!
We knew this change was coming but that doesn't make it any easier. They only moved to Cache Valley but it sucks not having them next door to just run over and ask an opinion or hang out for a half hour or so... There have been too many crappy life changes for me lately so this has been hard on me. Hopefully time will help!
Anyway, We love and miss you Johnsons! I hope everything goes well on your next life adventure!

Oh, we left the best friends and neighbors ever! That is the sweetest post...tear. It was a hard move and, as you know, I started crying as soon as I found out our house had sold. Life takes you in all different directions, but it's nice to know you can take your friendships with you. Luv you guys! Thanks so much for everything and I can't wait to continue having adventures together :) PS. Clay and I dated and lived 1 hr from each other so 45 min. is nothing!
