Christmas Eve 2008

For Christmas Eve this year we invited everyone (Mark's
family and mine) to our house. We had an appetizer
dinner - which is becoming one of our favorite things to
do... we watched all of the little kids dance, and we had
a white elephant gift exchange. It was so much fun
spending time with our families, but most of all spending it
with Carter. This was his first Christmas and although he
is little he seemed to enjoy it. We loved being able to
spoil him and have Santa come to our house. It really was
easier to focus on the Savior because of the little blessing
that joined our home this year. It really puts the gospel
in perspective.

I absolutely LOVE all of the Christmas pictures that

were taken of Carter and our family. Carter looked

so adorable and so handsome. Carter was so good,

and it was nice having Mark there. He can get 

Carter to smile really easily.

When I ask Carter to smile these days this is the response I usually get! What a little Cheeseball!He was really on one Thanksgiving Day...What a cutie! Every day just keeps getting better and better with this little guy!

The Bachelor

I, (along with my mom, mother-in-law, & sister-in-law) LOVE watching 'The Bachelor.' So today when I found out that the next Bachelor was going to be Jason from last season I was SO EXCITED! At the end of last season I liked Jason the best and was bummed when Deanna picked Jesse. But hey, that's ok! Now we get to enjoy him all over again! It is kind of sad when you think you know people off of tv...

P.S. If you haven't watched the Bachelor before try watching it this season. Jason is going to be one of the best Bachelors. It comes on Monday January 5th on ABC. (Still a while away).

Carter's Bath

Carter thinks he is so big now and is always trying to pull himself up. He also LOVES bathtime so I couldn't resist posting these pictures of his bath experience. I especially love the one of his little tooshie!

Late Halloween Pics

It was so much fun to celebrate Halloween with our little 

Carter this year. He was a monkey and yes, I dressed up 

as a banana to go along with his costume. Excited mom? 

I think so. We carved pumpkins at my parents house, 

which is a tradition. We also went trick or treating at 

Flying J (Mark actually had to work there for part of the 

night... bummer!). Carter looked so cute and was such a 

good boy. Next year will be even more fun when he has 

more of a concept of what is going on.
