The day before Easter we colored Easter eggs. Carter mainly sucked on an egg then threw it on the ground. To be expected from a 1 year old. On Easter morning the Easter bunny left Carter a basket full of goodies, he left Mark clues for a geocaching adventure in our own house, and I got a coupon for a little somethin somethin..($) After the excitement of the Easter Bunny being at our house the Mark Bunny made a yummy breakfast... Breakfast skillets (he makes the best) and chocolate dipped strawberries... So nice.
After church (which was so nice) we went over to my parents house for dinner and an Easter egg hunt! Carter was so cute when he "hunted" for eggs. Whenever he found an egg he bent down, picked it up, threw it into his basket and then he would do a little scream. It was like he was SO proud of himself. Funny guy.

EASTER MORNING... Look at the expression on his face! It cracks me up!
Isn't that the look of excitement?!

Carter's Easter wagon... perfect for gathering all those eggs.

I love the expression on Carter's face. So serious.

Carter obviously loved my bunny rabbit cupcakes.
The frosting works well as a facial mask and hair gel too.

Yes, I made those sweet Martha Stewart worthy cupcakes.
This is the last of the litter.
I made a ton of them and gave them to the young women for treats.

Those cupcakes were AMAZING! You're the best Alison! Carter is such a cutey!
First of all: I'm pretty sure I didn't receive an Easter cupcake. What's up?!
Secondly, what cute pictures of Carter! I especially loved loved the 'reverence' shot. He should get Gracie to practice that one in church ; )
