Lost & Found

What was Lost...

(cute little baby sock)

Where it was found...

(washing machine pump)

The cost to find it...

$190.00

Lesson learned...

Wash your baby socks in one of these:

(mesh bag-typically for lingerie or delicates)

***FACT: Baby socks are the second most popular item (next to bobby pins) to get caught and ruin washing machines. Who knew? Not me. That is why I am passing this along. My pain is your gain. :)

That totally sucks! Thanks for the info....it has happened to me before, but we were able to drain our whole washer and get it out of the back. TOTALLY didn't know you could get a bag like that...I am so gonna do that :) THANKS

thanks so much for sharing this - I always leave bobby pins in my pants and I never even thought about baby socks being a culprit!

My sister Erin's washer stopped working for the exact same reason. The guy that fixed theirs said the dryer always gets blamed for lost socks, but it is usually the washer. Who knew?

Yea when I got my new washer and dryer it came with that little mesh bag. I looked at Clay like, "what the heck is this for?" And he knew..so luckily little Lyndee's socks have been in it ever since. I'm so sorry for the bill though. These cute little buggers can do some damage huh?

Holy cow I can't believe that! We had to get our "filter" cleaned by the fix it man and we got charged about that! Who knew that washing machine's had filter's? I sure didn't, and it was so incredibly easy to do I can't believe that they charged as much as they did! Never again, I'll do it my self. This looks slighly more complicated ")
